Unique
Orchard View
Take time for you and enjoy a luxurious and relaxing getaway in our Igluhut, Orchard View. Ideal for short breaks, romantic weekends, special occasions, minimoon or longer stays and is open all year round.
Located in the Cotswolds, just outside the medieval town of Tewkesbury, sandwiched between the iconic rivers Severn and Avon (well above flood level!)
We have created Cabins at The Coach House to provide a unique and unforgettable glamping experience. Our Igluhuts (cabin and sauna) are individually hand built by Iglucraft, a plaque inside the door carries the name of the craftsman who created it. Feeling more like a ‘tiny house’ than a pod, guests will find our cabins comfortable, cosy and practical.
Orchard View – 'the iglu in the orchard'. Set in its own ¼ acre private orchard, with King size bed providing luxurious accommodation for a maximum of 2 adults. Sorry but no pets. The cabin is fully insulated and heated, keeping you warm in the cooler evenings or winter months.
Guests can enjoy fresh Egyptian cotton bedding, bath and hand towels, hooded bath robes and complimentary slippers. Additional towels for the sauna and hot tub are provided as standard.
Equipped with a modern bathroom with walk in shower, hand basin, flushing toilet, vanity mirror, hairdryer and complimentary toiletries. A small ironing board and iron are also provided.
The kitchenette area includes an integrated fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, air fryer and hob. All the kitchen utensils & crockery you need to prepare a simple meal are provided including pots, pans, cutlery, glasses, cups etc.
High speed Wi-Fi, flatscreen smart tv with Freeview and access to the latest streaming apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime come as standard.
Outside guests may enjoy relaxing on the spacious deck, in the private orchard or by the pond. In the evening perhaps try toasting marshmallows (also provided) whilst sitting around our Star Wars ‘Death Star’ fire pit. You may catch sight of some of the varied nocturnal wildlife including, badgers, bats, owls, hedgehogs and foxes to name but a few and if you’re very lucky – maybe a deer.
With very low levels of light pollution, on a clear night you can recline on one of the rocking deck loungers, or laze in the hammock and enjoy a spot of star gazing.
Orchard View includes a private log fired hot tub / plunge pool and a spacious log fired sauna cabin with changing area.
Unlike many other sites, we provide a large well stocked log store for use during your stay, at no extra charge, for use with the hot tub, sauna, fire pit and BBQ.
All our logs are locally sourced, sustainable, ‘Woodsure Ready to Burn’ certified and kiln dried. This ensures a more efficient burn and reduces environmental impact compared to other fuels such as charcoal.
As the hot tub can take a little while (2-3 Hrs) to reach optimum temperature, we are happy to provide a pre-heating service. Alternatively you may prefer to use the hot tub as a refreshing plunge pool if enjoying the sauna.
A selection of garden games including; a very giant Jenga, Connect 4 and giant dominos along with additional garden furniture, BBQ accessories including a rotisserie, Dutch oven and a Pizza oven are provided for your use during your stay.
We have a small flock of hens, mainly rescue hens, which guests will likely see roaming around the paddocks and maintain a regular supply of lovely fresh eggs. Enjoy a complimentary half dozen during your stay.
To enable you to get the most from your stay, a pre-order service for fridge / BBQ packs and various other items is available. All you need bring is yourselves.
Whilst the cabin only sleeps 2, for a larger group you also have the option to book our guest room in the main house which can sleep 4. Usually advertised through Airbnb this is available at a discounted rate and allows your guests to share and enjoy the facilities with you. Day guest passes are also available.
Your hosts, Danny & Adey look forward to welcoming you and are available both before and during your stay should you have any questions.

Would absolutely recommend what a fantastic time we had Danny and Adi or fantastic the thought of everything even down to tea bags😅 he your looking for chilling out you won't find anywhere better than here it's like a fairytale beautiful
Arrived to a warm welcome from Danny and Aden. After being shown where to park we were escorted across the garden into a fenced off orchard at the bottom of which, stood our holiday cabin. Danny gave us the full tour before leaving us to settle in. The word “Cabin” does not do it justice, it is more of an igloo shaped lodge. The interior consists of a long open plan room containing a double bed, dining area and kitchen, with a separate bathroom.Outside the lodge, in a similar building there is a sauna and outdoor hot tub. In the orchard there is a wood fired barbecue and fire pit. A large wood store provides a plentiful supply of logs for all. There are lots of nice touches in the lodge including complementary fresh eggs, butter, bread and milk. A welcoming bottle of wine, jelly beans and marshmallows were a pleasant surprise. We awoke on our first morning to a blanket of snow which truly made our holiday. Thanks to Danny and Adele for producing a wonderful luxury holiday experie

What an amazing stay, everything was perfect, the iglu/cabin was so comfy and had everything you needed, from the very comfy bed, the relaxing hot tub to the added bonus of a fantastic sauna. There was everything there you’d need, BBQ, pizza oven, garden games, etc.Tewksbury is only a few mins away, although you wouldn’t need to leave this place as it feels like your in your own little place shut off from the outside world, so chilled and relaxing and we didn’t want to leave, thank you Danny & Adey for being such great hosts

Thank you so much for an amazing week-long stay at Cabins at the Coach House! It was so much more than your typical glamping experience—the wood-fired hot tub, wood-fired sauna, bbq and fire pit were absolute highlights, making the stay incredibly relaxing and special. We truly appreciated every detail from the loaf of bread to the jar of sweeties that made our visit so enjoyable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind.Go out and visit Tewkesbury it’s a fascinating place filled with history - the riverside cafe has a great coffee and the Italian food from Zitto e Mangia, completely sublime. We visited Gloucester Socks and Quays, great for shopping and food, Bath for its stunning architecture and Evesham with a lovely riverside park and walk and Malvern that’s hilly and also quite fascinating

I bought the weekend stay as a gift for my husband’s birthday and Wow it was amazing tucked privately at the bottom of the hosts garden the cabin has everything for a blissful weekend away. Danny and Adey have thought of everything there was nothing we wanted for! From the fresh eggs and groceries to the home baked brownies we were totally spoilt. The added extra of the cinema night really made this weekend special. The sauna was amazing with a lovely changing area robes and towels all provided. We really had the best weekend and highly recommend staying here we will definitely be back!
What a fabulous place, from the immaculate clean and well equipped iglu hut to the many extras including hot tub and sauna , the hosts were wonderful and nothing was too much trouble, can't wait to return . A visit to nearby Tewksbury is well worth a visit .

Hi Sharron, thank you for your lovely review. We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Danny and Ade were both friendly and helpful. The igloo was immaculately clean. We loved the privacy of the orchard and garden, sitting out most evenings. The private hot tub and sauna were great. There is a lovely walk down to the river then into Tewkwsbury and you can walk onto the common in the evenings. The welcome pack was very informative and the cakes, milk , bread and tea and coffee were really useful. There are plenty of places to eat in Tewkwsbury. We left feeling totally peaceful and relaxed.
