Easy on the Wye Shepherd’s Hut offers a touch of luxury to your glamping break away deep in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Nestled right on the edge of the River Wye, imagine waking up and opening the double doors to the spectacular River Wye in front of you and breathtaking views of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) in the other direction and your own private hot tub, you really can relax and take in the views across the river and into the rolling green hills of the Wye Valley beyond. Set in the secluded countryside on the edge of Llyswen and the Brecon Beacons and Dark Sky Reserve, in the heart Mid Wales within an SSSI (Site of Special Scientific Interest), our Shepherds Hut is set in it’s own private field on our farm.

You are only a 5 minute walk to our closest pub, only a 10 minute walk to the Wye Valley Walk, and just a stones throw from the Black Mountains and Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). We are ideally located for your break away, being close to Hay on Wye (and Hay Festival), Builth Wells (and Royal Welsh Show), Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), Black Mountains, Llangors Lake and the Wye Valley Walk among many others.

Imagine relaxing in the Hot tub outside our Shepherds Hut with the Red Kites soaring above you, watching the Otters playing in the River Wye and the Kingfishers swooping with the backdrop of the songbirds melodies as the sun starts to set over the Black Mountains of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons), and the stars come out to play on the edge of the Dark Sky Reserve.

Handcrafted in Powys, our Easy on the Wye Shepherds Hut offers all you could need for a quick getaway, with a modern interior and luxury fittings throughout. Kitchenette with mini-fridge, induction hob, microwave, kettle and all cutlery and crockery supplied, bathroom with full sized shower and toilet, and a full size double bed. With a Fire Pit outside and wood burner stove inside to keep warm on colder days or in the Winter, our Shepherds Hut is the perfect spot at any time of year. Guests are welcome to bring two well behaved dogs (additional cost).
