You can choose from our smaller ‘Wee Brave’ Wigwam® that sleeps 3 adults or our larger ‘Big Chief’ Wigwam®, accommodating 4 adults. A maximum of 2 dogs are accepted in our wigwams. Each Wigwam® has a raised platform and mattresses for sleeping which convert into a cushioned seating and living area with free standing table for use during the day. Bring your own pillows, sleeping bags and towels. The small kitchen area is equipped with a fridge (with ice box), a microwave and a kettle. A Campers Kitchen with more facilities is nearby and can be used if required.

Check in arrangements: Report to reception on arrival. You will be directed to your wigwam. Check in will be from 2pm to 9pm (10pm on Saturdays) and check out will be no later that 10am. Keys may be left in the wigwam door on departure.

Parking is close to but not beside the Wigwam Cabins. The Wigwam Cabins have views over croft land to Laxdale river estuary and to the nearby town of Stornoway.

The Cabins do not have toilet facilities but the campsite toilet and shower block is located close to the wigwams.

Laundry and dishwashing facilities are available in the Main Toilet Block.

A Picnic table is located directly outside your wigwam.
