Pod
Patsy's Pod (sleeps 3)
This large, insulated glamping pod is simply furnished with a kingsize bed, a single bed, and a table and chairs, and is equipped with solar lighting and device charging. Also fitted with a hot air night-heater, to keep you warm on the chillier nights. Set on a spacious plot at the heart of the Rum Bridge meadow, this pod also has an exclusive firepit and outdoor seating area, and access to the eco-toilets, flush toilets, showers, and washing up area - in the field kitchen.
'Carol’s Kitchen' offers hot and cold snacks and meals throughout the day.
Rum Bridge is situated in the historic market town of Clare, Suffolk, within easy driving distance of Cambridge, Bury St Edmunds, Colchester, and the Suffolk coast. The town itself is home to a wealth of shops, cafes, pubs and eateries, as well as a 13th century Augustinian Priory, Clare Country Park, the stone keep ruins of Clare Castle, a medieval church and museum.
Although, for security reasons, the gates are locked at dusk, guests are provided with the gate lock combination, enabling you to come and go as you please.
To make Rum Bridge as affordable as possible, we allow guests to book our accommodation only, and to supply their own bedding, towels, etc.
We also offer a selection of optional extras all of which are designed to make your break as relaxing and enjoyable as possible…
