Excellent location, the views from cabin, and whilst in the hot tub are amazing....especially during sunset. The cabin itself was perfect. Really well presented with all the facilities you need and the cleanliness was excellent. We made great use of the hot tub, BBQ and hammock also. It was a great base for local walks, but also a good location for visiting other points of interest.
Such a lovely stay here. The views were spectacular, and the cabin is pointed towards sunset, meaning every evening there's a reason to be outside on the balcony before getting cosy indoors. The Bathroom, whilst tiny, is beautifully done, and the kitchen has enough bits and pieces to make basic food - it would have been LOVELY to have a bottle of milk in the fridge when we arrived as the nearby shops are a drive away, and some fresh farm milk would have been perfect. Otherwise, great. Warm bed, comfy chaise (could you squeeze another one in so guests aren't fighting over it?) and the hammock is dreamy. We walked up Garway hill which looks MILES away but is actually pretty achievable if you don't mind a steepish climb at the end - worth it for the views from the top.We also drove 45 mins to Llangattock Escarpment, which is a stunning walk / location. Very much recommend it if you fancy a bit of real-life Middle Earth.
Amazing nature, close enough to shops but still feel very remote. Cute house, very cosy. Good to have someone with you who knows fires, as the hot tub can be a little tricky to get the right temperature, but if you like the activity of making fires then you'll love this place. Breathtaking views, well stocked little kitchen, high quality bedding. We had the best weekend here! Hosts were very helpful, Thank you Cheryl
So lovely to return to Garway and stay at The Graig. Beautiful setting, star lit nights in the hot tub and a beautiful sunrise on the Sunday morning, not to mention sunset later that day.Facilities in the cabin are great, and the bed is so comfortable you don't want to get out of it, especially when you wake up to such a lovely view.We went to the Wye Valley Butterfly Zoo at Symonds Yat and played crazy golf there too which was great! Plus had a drink at Ye Old Ferrie Inn (have previously been to the Saracens Head which is also great!). Then Sunday roast at the Garway Moon - perfect!Would highly recommend and look forward to returning again!
