The Treehouse
Swaddled by the leafy treetop canopy, The Treehouse looks out onto a valley made up of 18 acres of land within the Pritchard family farm. Waking up here, in your super king-size bed, you’ll rise to the golden light pouring through the valley and flooding the space from the French windows at the front. The other three accommodations on site are spaced away such that you’ll feel secluded, with all four of them benefiting from the loving stewardship that the Pritchard's show for their land. Our conservation work is tireless and the spaces have been built off-grid with compost loos, solar power, and fresh clean spring water running through the taps. You can take in the feel of nurtured nature from the deck over morning coffee on the deck outside, then drift down into the valley and explore it along the meandering streams. You’ll spot sheep, hear the buzz of the bees kept in one far corner, and the knock of woodpeckers echo throughout the valley.
If you’re in the mood for adventure, you’re positioned perfectly to find it, with Herefordshire on one side, and Wales on the other. Hay-on-Wye is a 24-minute drive where you could spend the day immersed in bookshops, incredible eateries and envy inspiring markets – or go even wilder, and rent canoes, kayaks, or take the 15-minute drive to The Black Mountains for hikes and sights to remember forever. Return home to a decadent shower, an easy dinner cooked on the gas hob and eaten on the deck beside a crackling log burner. Then at nightfall, stargaze from the copper bathtub outside, reveling in the clarity of the night skies.
The Treehouse can include one "babe in arms". Please make sure to bring your own sleeping provisions. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for children.
