We have put a lot of hard work into The Vu Pod so now all you need to do is book, arrive and enjoy.

The Vu Pod is a family-run glamping experience in Burra, Shetland. It has its own front row seat to the stunning views overlooking Hamnavoe, and across the Atlantic Ocean towards the island of Foula. The Vu Pod offers a peaceful escape where comfort, scenery and island adventure come together, with the beautiful Meal Beach just moments away.

Whether you’re planning a romantic break for two, a family getaway, a few days away with friends or simply somewhere to switch off from everyday life, The Vu Pod gives you the space to settle in, slow down and enjoy Shetland at your own pace.

Our Pod:

Our cosy pod provides 2 bedrooms, one with king bed, one with two small single beds and a double sofa bed in the open plan living area. All beds come complete with towels and bedding included.

Open plan Living area and well-equipped kitchen with all necessary crockery, under counter fridge with a small freezer compartment, microwave, air fryer, fan oven and 2 induction hobs to create your delicious meals. There is also a dishwasher for easy cleaning after your meals and snacks.

Shower room with walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and toilet.

Tea and coffee are provided for that long-awaited hot drink after your journey to the pod.

Star link Wi-Fi is also available in the pod so you can connect for free.

There is a Bluetooth speaker system to allow you to connect and listen to music through the pod.

Alternatively you can use the Smart TV's in either the Living area or King bedroom to watch your favourite movies.

In the living area there is a Dining Table and Chairs that can extend and seat up to 6.

Decking area to the side of the pod with a picnic bench, leading out the patio doors from the King Bedroom.

Garden to the other side with a washing line for all that wet clothes/wetsuits after your adventure to the beach
