We had the best time at Wighill Park in the extra large pod with hot tub. The pod was surprisingly spacious for us as a family of 4 and cleverly designed with storage too. Well equipped with all the essentials and spotlessly clean. Lovely hot shower! Beds comfy. My 4 year old was delighted with the bunk beds and loved helping collect the logs for the fire pit and bbq. The hot tub was a spot of luxury for us once the kids were in bed. Peaceful surroundings. Couldn’t ask for more! Thank you. We are already planning our return visit.

Lovely pod and well equipped. Our party was two adults and two children (5 year olds). The pod was clean and well presented. Location was great and good communication about our stay. Would be good if there was a playground or set of swings or something on site.Thank you.

Myself and my two daughters spent two nights at Wighill. The pods were well equipped and comfortable. The girls loved exploring the woodland and toasting marshmallows over the fire pit! Handily situated for a trip into York (we caught the bus from Wighill!) or many other excursions.Lovely location. We are looking forward to our next trip!

We had a delightful stay from start to finish! The pod was clean with everything we needed, the site is peaceful and spacious and what staff we did see were super friendly and encouraged exploring the animals on the farm and the woodland. The fire pit and bbq were brilliant with unlimited logs, great thought had been put into making everything easier for the guests with trolleys provided to move luggage and logs to the pods and the whole site was safe enough for our children to have freedom to explore without us worrying. The medium pod was fine for a family of 4 with 2 adults and 2 children under 9 years old, however if we were to stay again we would try and get a larger pod to offer a little more space and would also recommend this for a family with older children too. We had day trips out and the location was perfect for that too with everywhere we wanted to visit being less than 1 hour away. We will definitely be visiting again. So impressed, we’ve staying some basic pods before so this was a real treat! And warm! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway. Woodland behind the pods for a little explore with kids too.
