Terms and Conditions
D A & S Rawlings trading as Wighill Park Glamping accepts reservations of holiday accommodation made by telephone, email, in person, in writing or online. When a reservation is made with us, by any means, our terms and conditions are deemed to have been accepted by the Booker (‘the Client’). Any questions regarding the terms for your self-catering holiday should be raised with us as soon as possible.
Contract
Bookings submitted online are provisional, and once Wighill Park Glamping confirm with a confirmation email, the Contract will be entered into and becomes legally binding.
The contract is at all times subject to the Booking Conditions. The Client should check the booking confirmation form carefully as it includes the property number, length of stay, charges, and other relevant booking details. The Client should notify us in case of any discrepancy, mistake, or query.
The Contract of Hire is governed by English law and jurisdiction, for the hire of the property for self-catering holiday purposes only. The lead name (‘Client’) on the booking must be over 21 years old, and a member of the party occupying the property. The Client agrees to take responsibility for all members of the party.
Payment
The booking will not be confirmed until full payment is received. Non-payment on or before the due date shall be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the Client.
Where the booking is paid by credit or debit card, the Client agrees in us holding these details securely within the booking system for the purpose of the Cautionary Security Deposit or for any additional sums which are due per these terms and conditions.
Damages
It is understood that the Client and their Guests will use the property lawfully, will not abuse or damage the facilities, and will comply with health and safety or other policies or instructions notified to you. The Client will keep the property including furniture, fixtures and fittings in the same state of repair as at the start of the rental period.
We may charge for any additional reasonable charges resulting from your stay where you have failed to comply with this paragraph. These charges are necessary to return the property to its original state for other future Clients.
Should a loss or damage be discovered, the Client will be informed of the amount to be charged:
- For charges of under £100, Wighill Park Glamping reserves the right to make the charge then notify the Client by email.
- For charges over £100, if there is a delay in obtaining an invoice the card may be charged and any excess refund will be processed by Wighill Park Glamping once this has been received.
- Where the costs are excessive, the Client will be notified by email or call and Wighill Park Glamping will charge the card held and will provide an invoice for the additional sum.
Where there are queries from us, these will be addressed by email or call to the Client. Prior notification of damage does not stop the Client from being liable for that damage.
The Client is legally bound to reimburse Wighill Park Glamping for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs incurred as a direct result of the Client’s use of the Property on demand. Reasonable charges can be incurred for, but not limited to, cleaning of furnishings, replacement equipment, keys, towels or bedding soiled beyond normal wear.
- Damages to hot tubs can be charged up to £1500.
- Damages to external/internal fittings and structure (e.g. Pods, decking, glass doors) can be charged up to £2000.
- Damages to internal furnishings can be charged up to £500.
Wighill Park Glamping reserves the right to refuse further bookings as a result of previous damage.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
For a full refund of the nightly rate, you must cancel at least five full days before check-in.
If you cancel less than five days in advance, the first night is non-refundable but 50% of the nightly rate for remaining nights will be refunded. If you arrive and decide to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
It is strongly recommended that Cancellation Insurance is purchased at the time of booking, further details relating to this are set out in the paragraph below.
In the case of additional services being booked during the cancelled dates, it remains the responsibility of the Client to cancel these directly with the supplier.
Change of Date
The client is welcome to reschedule their booking up to five days prior to check-in. Any changes within five days of check-in will be subject to the discretion of Wighill Park Glamping.
Care of the Property
The Client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair and condition and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period as at the beginning. The Client shall abide by all instructions regarding the use of the property and its fixtures and fittings as notified by Wighill Park Glamping.
The Client shall take care not to leave personal possessions in the property on departure. We will make every effort to return items provided that the client notifies us within 24 hours of departure. Wighill Park Glamping accepts no responsibility for personal possessions left in the property following departure. A postage charge will apply for the return of lost property.
Pets
An extra charge per dog per night is applicable. A maximum of two dogs are welcome in some of our properties, and other pods are kept dog free. No pets other than dogs are permitted unless discussed with us before check in. Dogs are always to be properly controlled and supervised and must not be left unattended. Dogs are not permitted on any of the furniture. Clients must clean up after all dogs inside and outside of the property, or extra cleaning costs can apply.
Registered guide and hearing dogs belonging to those with visual and hearing impairments are allowed in all properties without charge.
Certain breeds of dogs are restricted from some of our properties, including Pit Bull Terriers, JapaneseTosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero. For guests travelling with dogs listed under restricted breeds must let us know prior to check in and provide a valid Certificate of Exemption, Third-Party liability insurance and the dog must be kept on a lead and muzzled onsite.
Guests with allergies should be aware that we cannot guarantee that there have been no dogs previously kept in the pods, nor can we accept any liability for any suffering which may occur as a result of such pets having been present.
Where a Guest has an assistance dog, it is appreciated that Wighill Park Glamping is made aware before arrival.

Period of Hire
Rentals commence from the time outlined in the booking confirmation. 3pm on the day of arrival and 10am on the day of departure unless stated otherwise in writing from Wighill Park Glamping. Guests may be permitted to extend their stay, arrive earlier, or stay later subject to availability.
VAT
Wighill Park Glamping is registered for VAT, thus VAT is payable the tax is included in the self-catering Rental Fee, at the rate applicable on the date of payment. Wighill Park Glamping reserves the right to adjust prices quoted by any means due to errors or omissions or changes in the VAT rate.
Use of Property
The number of persons occupying a property must not exceed the numbers stated when booking. Children under the age of twelve are able to sleep on ‘click-clack beds’ provided by Wighill Park Glamping, permitted up to a maximum of two. There is no additional charge for extra bedding.
The property shall be used for personal and domestic purposes only for the duration of the rental. The property shall not be used for any commercial purposes without consent. Wighill Park Glamping reserves the right to refuse entry to the entire party if this condition is not observed, and generally in the case of any breach of these Booking Conditions by the Client where Wighill Park Glamping consider such exclusion is reasonable.
Day Guests
Visitors in the day are allowed at properties, but a Client should advise Wighill Park Glamping in advance of the number of guests that will be visiting. Permission must be granted so numbers satisfy health and safety as well as fire regulations.
Eligibility
Wighill Park Glamping reserves the right to refuse any bookings, in particular bookings from groups of people under the age of 21 or hen or stag parties.
Complaints
Should there be any cause for complaint during the occupation of the self-catering property, Wighill Park Glamping must be notified promptly and in case of serious problems confirmed in writing. Compensation will not be made for any complaints made after the Hire of the property has ended, or where a Client has prevented an opportunity to address a complaint during the Client’s stay.
A complaint can be made via email at any time to feedback@wighillparkglamping.co.uk. Should a complaint be made over the telephone, Wighill Park Glamping may request a copy in writing.
Right of Entry
Wighill Park Glamping, or its contractors, shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for the purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance. Under normal circumstances, we will always ask in advance for permission to enter.
Property Literature
All care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of each self-catering property description and all information is given in good faith and is believed to be correct. Wighill Park Glamping may be required to make amendments or choose to make improvements to a property between the time a Client books and the arrival date. Where a change might materially affect the property and the Client’s booking, Wighill Park Glamping will communicate this with the Client as soon as they are made aware.
Communicating with the Client
For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018, Wighill Park Glamping is the sole data controller of all personal data provided to Wighill Park Glamping by Clients and prospective Clients. In order to process a booking Wighill Park Glamping needs to collect certain personal data from the Client, for example names and addresses of party members, credit/debit card or other payment details, and special requirements such as those relating to a disability or medical condition which may affect any party member’s holiday arrangements. If Wighill Park Glamping needs any other personal details the Client will be told before they are obtained.
Wighill Park Glamping also needs to process and store Clients’ personal details for its own administration, market analyses and operational reviews. Wighill Park Glamping will respect the privacy of personal data and will comply with all relevant and current data protection legislation.

Warranties
Wighill Park Glamping does not warrant and is not responsible for the accuracy of any verbal information given or statements made by its employees, agents, or the owners of the properties.
Exclusive Offers
Wighill Park Glamping may from time to time offer discounted rates for last minute bookings, these offers apply to new bookings only for the dates specified on the offer and cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount. Any disputes are at the discretion of Wighill Park Glamping.
Dogs
What To Know Before Your Dog Friendly Holiday
Within the pods every odd number including the Nook and nest are dog friendly.
Please specify at the time of booking if you intend to bring your dog(s). An extra charge is applicable of £10 per animal per night, with up to a maximum of two pets allowed in each property. An additional dog may be accommodated, however, this must be done by prior arrangement. In order to enquire about this possibility, it is recommended that you contact the team prior to making your booking.

Canine Code of Conduct
For your pet’s safety and the consideration of other guests, we do ask that dogs and their owners follow a few simple rules while they are staying:
- Dogs must always be properly controlled and supervised. Not all outside areas of dog friendly homes are completely escape-proof for dogs.
- Dogs must not be left unattended in the holiday properties.
- Dogs are not permitted on any furniture.
- Guests are asked to clean up after dogs, both inside and outside of the property, or extra cleaning costs may be charged.
Prohibited Breeds
In the interest of guest safety – especially children – and the welfare of other guests’ dogs, the following breeds of dogs are not allowed. We regret any inconvenience this may cause.Breeds classified under the Dangerous Dogs Act:
Pit Bull Terriers, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero.
Dog Sitting Service
Little & Large Dog walking is a local dog walking and sitting service. So, if you are popping out for the evening and require a dog sitter, or are out for the day and need your dog walking, then a fully trained member of the Little & Large team should be able to assist you.
