Loved the lodge and the views, bed a bit lumpy, hated the flies and the gross fly catchers. All good being eco friendly but the amount of flies crawling all over including the carpets was dreadful, need dorays or fly screens, there were more flies inside than out.

POD offered us what we expected very peaceful and relaxing but some more comfortable outdoor seating would be nice or even just some cushions ! Would definitely need a gate on the pod if I brought my dogs !

Clean glamping pods with beautiful gardens and an amazing hot tub! Before we arrived, they could not do enough to help us, with clear comms and instructions. Scenery was stunning , kitchen not at all badly equipped considering the size! Comfy beds and good shower!! Will defo go back again

Clean, comfortable room. The location is quite and perfect for a couple of nights away from home. Host were on hand for any questions or issues, friendly service. I will definitely be coming back here again

Excellent accessibility (one level, 2 steps to reach), parking and location. Spotlessly clean. Good size main bedrooms and living areas. We had days out in Ledbury, Herefordshire and Malvern. Archery at Viking Games & Battlelands followed by a swim in the river at Skenfrith Castle. We visited during the heatwave but felt comfortable having the windows open at night. Favourite thing was sitting on the deck reading on the cool mornings, looking over the countryside. Watching the horses frolic in the distance. So peaceful and relaxing.

Location was perfect for rural break, lovely walks & village nearby with shop & 2 pubs.Our daughters & families stayed in the 2 lodges beautiful views & well equipped though no outside lighting which made it very dark at night definitely need well powered torches.My husband and I stayed in a Pod which was a few minutes walk from the lodges these were very compact & had everything you needed for a short stay bedding & towels included which was a bonus ( we stayed for 3 nights )though apart from sleeping & showering we spent most of our time at the lodges.We would return but more likely in the spring / summer & hopefully benefit from better weather & lighter evenings.Photo added is taken from the decking of the lodges early evening.

The lodge (Windmill) was lovely and a good size and most equipment that you might need- drying rack for clothes and wall hooks for towels would be useful. Had a lovely view and a fire pit (bring firefighters and kindling). Farm was quiet. There was some grassy space for the children to run around. 10mins drive into Ross and 15mins to Newbridge childrens’ farm. Aldi 10mins drive in Ross. We have a pleasant break.

We had a great nights stay at Caplor in the Meadow View Lodge with hot tub. A peaceful location, very private in beautiful countryside. The wood fired hot tub was a great treat. Exactly as listed and would recommend.

We absolutely fell in love with this place as soon as we arrived! Beautiful, serene and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle, beautiful well equipped pods and the little porch to sit and look at the stunning views 💛We cannot wait to return!

I would describe the glamping pod as just needing a bit of TLC to make it a little more appealing . Bedding was a little worn and discoloured , a plate had a crack in itHowever the owner / manager was quick to deal with the issues and offered a discount for a future visit . Stunning views very peaceful and away from it all.
