Perfect for couples or solo explorers, this rustic wooden pod offers a simple, refreshing escape into nature. Whether you’ve spent the day walking local trails, sketching the scenery, or casting a line into the water (with a licence), Ed’s Pod is a comfortable base to return to.

Tucked beside the lake, the pod opens out onto a private, enclosed grassed area that leads directly onto your own decking overlooking the Top Lake – a peaceful spot to listen to the breeze through the trees and watch for passing wildlife.

Inside, it’s cosy and inviting, with just what you need for a restful stay surrounded by nature - this is glamping with a wild side. Bring a book, your sketchpad, or a fishing rod - this is a place that invites creativity, reflection, and the freedom to just be.

And when you feel like exploring, you’re just a 10-minute walk from the heart of Clare - a beautifully preserved medieval town, full of history and charm. Wander the streets, browse the independent shops, enjoy a riverside walk, or relax in one of the friendly local pubs.

** Dogs **

We’re so happy to welcome you and your four-legged companions! To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for everyone – guests, staff, wildlife, and dogs alike – we kindly ask you to follow a few simple guidelines:

· Please keep dogs on leads in all communal areas. This helps keep everyone safe, including children, ducks, other guests, and your own furry friend.

· Each dog-friendly accommodation has its own secure fenced area, so your pup can enjoy some freedom in a safe space.

· Dogs are not allowed in the lakes, as we have carefully managed fish stocks and want to ensure safety for both pets and wildlife.

· And finally, we’ve tucked away a secret jar of treats in every dog-friendly accommodation – a little surprise for our special canine guests!
