Bumblebee has the highest fencing of the 3 cabins at 1.5 metres high 💗🐾 Awood fired hot tub also available as an optional extra within the enclosed garden for 2026 season onwards.

Also - If you have more than 2 sets of paws......please just get in touch first. The booking system mandates 2 dogs max (we can't overwrite this) but we are always happy to discuss more and if we think you will have enough room to be comfortable, we will most likely say yes to extra paws. RRR is a small and secluded adult only, super dog friendly retreat, set off the beaten track, within 4 acres of beautiful old meadow land and bordered by an array of hedgerows, trees and brooks. Woodpecker is one of just 3 beautiful glamping cabins each designed for 2 adults with special thought for paws. Whether elderly, tiny, large, nervous or less mobile paws, our retreats try to think of all those little extra things you have at home which often prevent you from thinking of taking your paws away.

These Rural Retreats have been designed with comfort in mind; for adults and paws to escape from everyday life, enjoy the tranquillity, beauty and nature that surrounds us and relax. All 3 have their own private and secure garden areas for piece of mind when bringing canine companions. If you are looking for that special dog friendly getaway, where paws come first and adults a close second, this is the place for you.

Situated approx. 4miles from the historic market town of Uppingham and just a short drive from the famous Rutland Water nature reserve, Rutland Rural Retreats is set on the edge of the beautiful village of Belton In Rutland. Access is gained through the main wooden gates where you will follow the signs to the private car park. From there luggage trolleys are provided for you to transport your belongings the short distance from the car park, along the winding limestone track and over the wooden footbridge into the meadow beyond.

Stylish and well equipped, Bumblebee is furnished with double bed, luxury leather sofa (please note this is not a sofa bed), kitchenette with combination oven/microwave, two ring hob, fridge with small freezer compartment;; moveable rustic dining table and drawers, en-suite with shower, sink, flushing toilet and heated towel rail and underfloor heating! The outside area is equally well thought out with enclosed garden area with 1.5m high welded mesh fencing, outside table and chairs, sun loungers and meadow views. A fire pit with BBQ arm is provided and available for use with our fire pit bundles - see extras section which can be added at time of booking.
