Small and secluded adult only, dog friendly couples retreat, one of just 3 beautiful glamping units, nestled in the undulating hills of Rutland, Rutland Rural Retreats is set off the beaten track, within 4 acres of beautiful old meadow land, bordered by an array of hedgerows, trees and brooks. Our Rural Retreats have been designed with comfort in mind; for couples to escape from everyday life, enjoy the tranquillity, beauty and nature that surrounds us and relax. Both glamping pods have their own secure garden areas for piece of mind when bringing canine companions. If you are looking for that special getaway, far from the madding crowd, this is the place for you.

Standard policy is set at 2 dogs max per the booking system but we are always happy to discuss. Please email or pm prior to booking if you have more than 2 sets of paws.

Situated approx. 4miles from the historic market town of Uppingham and just a short drive from the famous Rutland Water nature reserve, Rutland Rural Retreats is set on the edge of the beautiful village of Belton In Rutland. Access is gained through the main wooden gates where you will follow the signs to the private car park. From there luggage trolleys are provided for you to transport your belongings the short distance from the car park, along the winding limestone track and over the wooden footbridge into the meadow beyond.

Stylish and well equipped, Bumblebee is furnished with double bed, luxury leather sofa, kitchenette with combination oven/microwave, two ring hob, fridge with small freezer compartment;; moveable rustic dining table and drawers, en-suite with shower, sink, flushing toilet and heated towel rail and underfloor heating! The outside area is equally well thought out with enclosed garden area with 1.5m high stock fencing, picnic table and seating, sun loungers and meadow views. A fire pit with BBQ arm is available for use with our fire pit bundles - see extras section which can be added at time of booking.
