Staying in the Lost Meadow Treepod means quite literally living in the forest for a few days. Your suspended bedroom hangs among the branches, giving you a wild, immersive experience — close to nature yet warm, cosy and sheltered when the cool night air settles over the woods.

In the morning, climb down the steps to your spring‑fed, off‑grid hot shower and composting toilet, located just below the pod alongside the field kitchen. If you tread quietly, you may spot deer grazing nearby or catch sight of kingfishers darting along the stream that runs right past the Treepod.

Beside the stream is your private fire circle and BBQ, perfect for adventurous breakfasts or simple campfire coffees before heading out to explore Cornwall.

This is a peaceful, secluded spot with 14 acres of woodland and meadow around you, shared only with a handful of guests in far‑off corners of the land. You have the river for wild swimming, fishing or cooling off, and the vast expanse of Bodmin Moor in one direction with the Cornish coast in the other — offering endless adventures, from canoeing on the Fowey to wandering through quiet villages like Lostwithiel.

In the evening, you can walk (around 45 minutes) to the local pub for a taste of civilisation if you don’t feel like wild cheffing. Then it’s time to switch on your torches and pick your way back through the woods to your wild, spherical nest among the trees.

You’ll also have shared access to the Potting Shed (our pottery studio), where you’ll find a freezer, phone‑charging points and a small lending library. Extra kindling is available for £7 via the honesty box, and handmade pottery is also available to buy.
